Mindfulness At the beginning and ending of our 7/24/2020 Summer Social Group, we practiced the mindfulness exercise "Ready to Talk" from the "Acting with Purpose" curriculum. The main idea is to help teach your child where to start and why we start there when initiating a conversation. Believe it or not, it begins with eye contact!

Ready to Talk

Are you thinking about me?

Do you want to have a conversation?

Look at me with your eyes.

I will know you are thinking about me and that you want to have a conversation.

Nice!

We're ready to talk.
