CASPER — The Lady Warriors’ volleyball season came to an end on Friday, October 7, 2025, after a hard-fought five-set battle against the Newcastle Dogies in the state tournament. Though the loss was tough, the Warriors walked away proud of how far they had come.
Head Coach Joanna Peterson reflected on the team’s journey with pride, saying, “This team improved immensely throughout the season in blocking, defense, and even team camaraderie.” Peterson added that the team learned powerful lessons about perseverance and commitment: “Nothing is impossible if you have determination, and if you want anything, you must be disciplined.”
Several Warriors stood out across the state this year. Junior Lille Richardson finished the season ranked as the #1 blocker in 3A, sophomore Annie Page and senior Amilia Crawford followed close behind at #4 and #8. Peterson praised their impact, saying, “Even though our team was overlooked a lot, we still made a statement with these three and their blocking ability.”
Looking ahead to next season, Peterson says the focus will be on strengthening defense, developing a faster offense, and playing as one united team. “Sometimes we may stumble and fall,” Peterson said, “but those obstacles will only make us stronger and more prepared in the end.”
Despite the season’s end, the Lady Warriors leave with a sense of pride — and the foundation for an even stronger year ahead in 2026.

PINEDALE- The Lady Warriors had an exciting weekend, earning a spot at the state tournament. They enter as the No. 4 seed from the West and will face the top East seed, Douglas, on November 6 at 1:00 p.m. in Casper.
Looking ahead to state, Coach Kara Anderson says one key focus is on blocking — making sure players are in the right position and closing effectively at the net. Off the court, Anderson emphasizes the importance of communication, encouraging the team to work together as one unit rather than as eleven individuals.
Good luck Lady Warriors!

WORLAND - The Worland volleyball team has enjoyed a stellar run so far, with about a third of the season remaining. When asked what distinguishes this season from previous ones, freshman and assistant volleyball coach Kara Anderson credited the shift in team dynamics.
“There is more unity," Anderson said. "We have a concept of one team instead of three different teams.”
Looking ahead, Anderson emphasized maintaining their current momentum. "I want us to keep the same confidence and energy, both at practice and on the court.”
