Pitch Please! It's Game Day

Worland - The Worland Lady Warriors competed in Worland on Thursday, April 16, 2026, against the Sheridan Lady Broncs. The varsity games were at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, and the JV game was at 2:00.
It was a nice, sunny day at the baseball fields in Worland as the Worland Lady Warriors and Sheridan Lady Broncs had their face-off. With Sheridan Lady Broncs scoring the first few points for their varsity matchup. The Worland Lady Warriors struggled to keep up, unfortunately ending the score at Sheridan 22 and Worland 7.
Worland Lady Warrior Aedyn Donahue said, "Having girls from different towns, such as Lander and Riverton, makes it harder for us to work as a team, and harder to communicate. Personally, I think that it's great to learn and grow from my mistakes."
For the JV, Sherdian swept a doubleheader after leading with 11 points in the first game and scoring 11 unanswered runs in the second game. The Worland Lady Warrior JV team gave it their all in the matchup with the Sheridan Lady Bronc JV team. The score at the end was Sheridan 13, and Worland 2.
