In this standard, students measure one object using two units of different lengths. Students are expected to explain that one object can have different measurements based on the size of the unit. Students are also expected to explain that measuring the dimension of an object with a smaller unit will have a larger number associated with the measurement compared to measuring the same object with a larger unit.
