Music

It is wonderful to welcome Year 6 back from their residential trip and see them slot into the final touches of music production for the Summer Fair! Year 5 continue to enjoy the noise and excitement of Samba pieces and Year 4 have developed their understanding of the orchestra and learned a new musical challenge with the 'clapping game' (ask them to teach you at home!). Year 3 are coming to the end of their studies of The Carnival of the Animals and have improved their observational skills regarding pitch, rhythm, dynamics and tempo. Year 2 are powering through repertoire with chord accompaniments on tuned percussion, Peter and the Wolf is the study of Year 1 and Reception classes are preparing for their upcoming assembly. Nursery children enjoyed experiencing peer performance.  Have a wonderful half-term break and keep enjoying your music!

Congratulations to DJ in Year 3 for achieving his Grade 1 Cello qualification.

Recital - 3 June 2025

Thank you for your enthusiasm to participate in this event! The Recital programme is now full and no further applications can be accepted.  Apologies for any disappointment - there is always the Autumn Term Recital in which to play. Please come and support the performers at 4.30pm in the School hall - all are welcome.
