What an amazing afternoon of football and netball matches! House competitions are always competitive, and today was no different with every match finely balanced. With the late change of venue for the football, I think everyone involved probably preferred to go to Goals as it is great place to play, and without corners, throwing and plenty of ball in play time, it offered our boys and girls something slightly different. In the end though, it was normal service resumed as Earhart managed to see off a brave Tenzing team to win the competition. Congratulations to them, and to all of the players who made it such a fun event.
The netball competition was won by Oates, who displayed a brilliant mixture of skill and desire. It was a slightly different format with players from each house mixed together, but Mrs Laudy and Miss Brown reported back that it was a brilliant competition which showcased the improvements our girls and boys have made in the sport.
Have a great weekend.
