.Another busy and extremely exciting week in the Nursery.

This week we joined Stickman with his adventures by Julia Donaldson through the seasons. 

We each made a real natural twig stickman as Mrs Mahmoud had collected twigs on her way to school for the children to each make one. 

The children also enjoyed meeting the Stickman Family and stuck the family on to paper in order of size from biggest to smallest. 

The stickman activities continued by creating our own stickman from chocolate flakes. The children were able to attach arms and legs etc before enjoying eating their delicious stickman. 

Nursery also enjoyed listening to a very sweet musical story by Savana, and they each tried to draw their own Stickman using different media and materials 

We began our Christmas celebrations this week and each child played a huge part in putting together the Christmas tree. So much excitement was had by all the children especially the count down 10,9,8,etc to switching on the tree lights which made the children squeal with laughter and clap and cheer to see their tree lit up. 

We ended the week by having the absolute pleasure of meeting and greeting some of the Nursery children's lovely grandparents who came and played and joined in with our daily adventures. This was definitely our highlight of the week.
