Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
Time flies when you're having fun and that is certainly the case in our music lessons this week! With excitement building for our upcoming performances in the Spring Concert and House Music competition, there is a real sense of purpose in our music-making at school.
Congratulations to all the finalists and reserve finalists chosen to participate in the House Music individual/ensemble performance categories - a record number of auditions means that there is already one House heading into the lead of this year's competition. House Choir performances and finalist presentations will all add to the total points for each House and it's nearly impossible to predict which will be our winning House !
Instrument/LAMDA lessons
This term has seen many children take up a new instrument or LAMDA and feedback so far is 100% positive! If your child is keen to consider learning an instrument or taking LAMDA at school, please see the Music website for more information (link below) or get in touch with me for a chat about options.
