Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
We've had such a brilliant week in Year 4. In English, we continued reading 'The Iron Man' and got to make our own menus - it was so much fun! For Maths, we've been going over everything we learned this spring term.
In History, we learned about Aztec houses. They look so different from our houses today! We also talked about how to help the environment in PSHCE, which made us feel like real superheroes. In RE, we heard about this cool story of a wedding in Cana.
Our 'Pantastic' songs are coming along great in Music - we can't wait for you to hear them! In PE we played football and dodgeball. In Art, we got to draw mazes and paint awesome backgrounds for our 'Pantastic' show.
We learned about fruits in French (les fruits!), and in Computing, we did something called onion skinning for our animations. We now feel like we're proper animators!
Can't wait to see what next week brings!

THE WEEK AHEAD:
Date change: Donate an Easter egg by Friday 4th April for our 'Give a little, hatch a lot' campaign with Dons Local Action Group. Help spread Easter cheer to families in need!
Please send your child in on Monday 17th March with their 'Pantastic' costume in a labelled plastic bag.
On Thursday 20th March we will be visiting Morden Hall Park to learn about our geography topic, 'rivers'. Please send your child into school in their PE kit, with a jumper, water proof jacket and small rucksack. We also recommend that they wear either wellington boots or walking boots and bring a black sack to sit on in case the ground is wet.
