Electricity and Applied Electronics is a one-year course which explores the field of basic electricity and applied electronics through a series of activities. These activities will demonstrate processes of circuit design, circuit layouts, fabrications, basic troubleshooting, residential wiring, and basic automotive electricity. In our applied technology laboratories, students will be challenged to participate in authentic learning tasks and start solving problems through instruction and self- directed inquiry. This course will help align students to become college- and career-ready. If you have a general interest in this particular field or if you have plans to join one of our CTE programs, this is a great course for you! (NOT A COMPUTER COURSE)
This course may be used as a third unit of Math or Science.
