5 – Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

This was my first ever internship I had ever done and it required me to get our of my comfort zone and interact with unknown people and help them everyday of my internship. My strength is management, and so I wanted to use that to my benefit and help the hotel boutique out with my set of skills. Some new skills I learnt in the process were making the bed and learning how business is done. I was assigned on the front reception along with Boss. If we didn't have work, we were required to help the maids out in cleaning the hotel rooms or helping out in their cafe. Boss and I had to work with the staff members and help them. This really benefit us as we learnt a lot about the responsibilities they have and how they manage them.
