Duggan Cup - Junior All Rounder 

Audrey Thorburn

The Award recipient for the Duggan Junior Sports Cup is awarded to a junior student who has all round ability and is involved in playing many sports for the college.  They play fair and live by our school values.  The award recipient for the junior all rounder of the year for 2024 goes to year 10 Audrey Thorburn. 

Audrey represents the College playing many sports in our top junior teams - Futsal, Football, Volleyball, Ki o Rahi, Touch, Underwater Hockey, Athletics and Surfing. 

At the 2024 WEGC Sport Prizegiving, Audrey won the junior Player of the year for Football, Underwater Hockey and Surfing.  She is a great team player, reliable, committed and gracious while playing. Audrey  upholds the integrity of our school values when representing East on the sports field.  All her coaches have said Audrey is motivated, supportive, reliable and always put others before herself and is well liked and respected by team members, coaches and management.
