Haughton Trophy - East Mana Team of the Year

This group of students have been playing social sport together for the past 3 years. They are a social team who are self entered, communicate well, are reliable, never default, give a 100% and have loads of fun. The netball team they have played in remains the same as it did when they began playing together as Yr 11’s. (We have photos to prove that.) Each year the team will have a friendly game against their parents and this year was no different with the exchange taking part in the weekend. We believe one parent wasn’t taking a chance turning up with a bike helmet and kneepads to ward off injuries.

Not only do they play netball but over the years they have also played floorball, volleyball, football and a few even took up hockey this year. Girls we have loved watching your enthusiasm for sport, your commitment to your team and each other and the sport you are playing. We know you will continue to have a passion for sport and we wish you all the best for your futures.
