Brennan Fish Liming, Mark Scalf, Harry Thomas
Brennan Fish Liming (Class of '94): Brennan was the anchor of the cross country team. She led the way to the 1994 State Title in the 4 x 800 relay.
Mark Scalf (Class of '76): Mark Scalf participated in varsity football, basketball and baseball during his entire high school career while maintaining a good academic record. He was a dedicated and willing athlete who constantly aspired to improve. He was a good citizen and served as a role model for others.
Mark was All-Conference in football from 1973-75 and All-Conference in Baseball from 1974-76.
He was voted "Athlete of the Year" in 1975-76 and won the Phillip Sorrell Memorial Sportsmanship Award in 1975-76.
Harry Thomas (Volunteer): Harry was the clock operator for Cary High School's Varsity Girls' and Boy's Basketball games. He started in 1970 and continued faithfully for twenty-five years, This may be the longest tenure for high school clock operator in North Carolina. He never expected nor received compensation for his dedication. In fact, he treated the girls' team to a pizza party when they advanced to the State Playoffs.
