Parents/Guardians: In our continuing efforts to support the well-being of all our students, we administer a universal screener of social, emotional & behavioral health. Our district is using the Behavior Intervention Monitoring Assessment System-2 (BIMAS-2) research-based screening tool. We believe this helps all of our students thrive academically by identifying students who may benefit from additional social and emotional support and interventions, much like some students benefit from additional academic support and interventions.
Screening window is open and will close Friday, April 10.
Students will be screened by their 2A teacher. Nothing is required of the student.
Parents/Guardians can opt their child out from being screened by returning a signed opt-out form to the main office and/or student services. Opt-out forms were completed in the fall.
