FAFSA & Financial Aid
Next NC Scholarship
Money is still available to help graduating seniors be financially prepared for college this fall. The Next NC Scholarship is designed to cover the cost of tuition and fees at any community college, or to cover half (if not all) the cost of tuition and fees at any public university in North Carolina. Funding can be applied toward tuition, fees, books, food, and housing — and doesn’t have to be repaid. Most North Carolina students from households making $80,000 or less are eligible. Students should submit their FAFSA by the Next NC Scholarship priority filing date, Aug. 15, 2024, for UNC System schools and for NC community colleges. Learn more at nextncscholarship.org
