Arts notice:
Effective with the Class of 2029, students are required to have taken a credit of visual/performing arts courses between grades 6 and 12. If you have any questions, please check with your counselor.
World Language notice:
No world language is required to graduate from a WCPSS high school, but two levels are recommended for those who plan to attend a 4-year college/university in the UNC system.
High school students shall be promoted by attaining credits that are earned through successful completion of specific required courses as illustrated in the following (Note: The appropriate English credit is required for promotion each year)
