College Planning Resources

College panel presentation

This is a presentation Student Services staff gave in late September, preceding the college panel night. And here's a set of answers from our panelists to Frequently Asked Questions

Considering a gap year after high school?

A gap year is semester or year of experiential learning, typically taken after high school and prior to career or post-secondary education, in order to deepen one’s practical, professional, and personal awareness. No two gap years are exactly alike. Gap Year Association has ideas and information.

Colleges and universities provide insight on what they think of a gap year in a presentation by Global Citizen year.
