SOS (Signs of Suicide) is a research evidence-based suicide prevention program geared for middle and high school students. The main message of the program in 7th and 9th grade is to ACT: Acknowledge, Care and Tell
Acknowledge that you are seeing signs of suicide in friends and that it is serious.
Care: Let friends know that you are worried about them and that you are concerned that they need help you cannot provide.
Tell a responsible adult, whether with your friend or on your friend's behalf.
