Te Awa
Te Awa
This week we are looking at how water behaves. How does water flow? What is the water cycle? We are also taking a trip to Ngāmotu (New Plymouth) to see some rivers there. They are different to our Waitara awa. How are they different?
This term we are working on te awa. Rivers. We are going to be looking at how humans can change natural features. We will look into what that means for our awa and rivers around NZ and the world.
What do you know already? Prior = existing before, so prior knowledge is what you know before we start the inquiry.
Make a copy of this jamboard for yourself
Save it to your Inquiry folder
work your way through the pages.
Use the LEFT HAND SIDE to note down what you already know.
We will come back to these at the end and record (by writing down) what you learned on the right hand side.
