There is something delightful about using what is just there and working with it outside, and then walking away to let it return to nature, or for others who may pass by to encounter it for themselves.
Working outside and with nature's palette can be grounding and soothing whilst the fresh air and space helps us to breathe and relax our gaze - it can be a break from introspection.
I always feel such a sense of pleasure when walking along the beach to notice others sandcastles or writing in the sand. A burnt out fire or collection of shells...each tells its story.
Make artwork that blends in with what is already there. Allow your creativity to make pictures out of the clouds, water patterns, cracks in the pavement, tufts of grass. How cute to see this on my garden path as I go out to hang up the washing.
