Introduce yourself

For students it is often exciting to start a new course. Especially when they haven't been studying at our university for that long. That's why it's a good idea to introduce yourself on the Homepage. This way, students know who is going to teach them and it feels inviting to them.

The best way to introduce yourself is to post a picture of yourself with your name and your role during the course. An example is shown in the picture below. A small word of welcome underneath is another good idea. Welcome the students and briefly explain what they can expect from the course. Finish with when you will see the students for the first time and you look forward to seeing them.
