The 1993-1994 Tennessee basketball season was a difficult one for the program. It was the worst season in Tennessee basketball history, with a record of 5-22 (2-14, 6th in SEC MBB East). Head coach Wade Houston was fired following the season.
The team struggled on both sides of the ball, averaging only 70.7 points per game (239th of 301) while allowing 77.1 points per game (211th of 301). Their SRS of 1.25 (131st of 301) and SOS of 7.69 (43rd of 301) were both below average.
