ざんくるす (Zankurus)

魚類のイラストを専門に描きます。主に論文や書籍等を参考に、計測形質や計数形質、記載を反映し、写真では伝わりづらい部分も正確に描写することで、「魚らしさ」を最大限引き出すことを目指して活動しています。たまにイベント等にグッズを出展したり、イラストを提供したりしています。

名前はツノダシ属(Zanclus)のもじりです。

I specialize in drawing fish. Primarily referencing scientific papers and books, I aim to maximize the “essence of fish” by accurately depicting the count, measurements, and description of it, including details that the photographs struggle to convey.

The inspiration for my pen name is Zanclus, which is a genus of  Moorish Idol.
