I chose my poster about birth registration from our Thai Civic Duties class. This was supposed to be a group project but I left to study at the University of Washington at Seattle, Washington, USA, therefore, I had to complete this work beforehand. In this work, I explained that being born is not enough to be legally recognized and every child needs a birth certificate to receive rights and services in Thailand. By creating this poster, I learned why birth registration is important, how to summarize information clearly from the authentic sources and to be responsible for every parts of the research.

     This work connects to the MUIDS ESLO Morally Intelligent Persons because it shows responsibility for the parents to acknowledge the rights of their children and fairness by understanding that every child deserves equal rights from the moment they are born. Not only does this assignment make me understand the first right of every children, but I also gain knowledge that I can use to spread awareness to everyone.
