I was assigned to write a summative short story that demonstrated my understanding of narrative structure, character development, and various literary devices. I was able to showcase my ability to creatively express a meaningful story while including figurative language, tone, and a clear theme. 

By completing this project, I learned how to build a compelling narrative that includes exposition, rising action, climax, and resolution. Moreover, I was able to express my emotions through texts and characters. This has helped me grow to be an Innovative Thinker and Articulate Communicators as connected to MUIDS ESLOs.

What I found challenging was the maintaining of a consistent tone throughout the story because I wanted to balance the suspense and emotion. I got to be a Morally Intelligent Person as I explored ethical and emotional issues faced by the characters. Furthermore, editing my ideas to stay within the word count without losing the plot was difficult. However, I am content that I successfully completed this project and ultimately received an A.
