Security policy:
Physical security of the society members and their property is of utmost importance. It is observed that new age criminals come in cars or look sophisticated and do major robberies. Hence the guards are instructed to stop and check everybody. We should feel good if the guards stop even one of us flat owners due to any suspicion. It means the guards are diligent.
Security methods employed - guards at main gate, vehicle stickers, CCTV system, night patrolling.
All members should have society stickers on their vehicles. Otherwise, the security guard will take entry as a visitor.
Visitors to be allowed inside the society after the approval from the member is received on myGate/phone
Visitors will not be allowed inside the society until the approval from the member is received on myGate/phone. They have to wait.
Visitor's vehicle will be allowed inside only if there is space in the designated visitors parking. Else they have to park outside the main gate. This is approved in AGM.
Even if the guests come daily many times, they need to make entries every time they enter the society.
Security guards will operate the boom bar to open position after identification of the visitor.
Any damage to the boom bar will be recovered from the vehicle driver/owner.
After 11.30 pm, the main gate will be locked to prevent unsafe situations.
After 11.30 pm, entry in the register will be made of every visitor and also of members.
After 11.30 pm, delivery boys will not be allowed inside the society. Members will have to pick the parcel from the security gate themselves.
At your request, the Society manager and/or the Security guard will accompany an outsider to your house. Do not let any outside person inside your home if you feel insecure.
Nobody should give food or do favour to any security guards and not make them do any personal work like fetching groceries or call them inside the building. Their duty is to protect us from unauthorised people who can be dangerous for us.
Exchange of courteous language is expected from both sides at the security gate.
In the event of concerns, we encourage residents to address them without engaging in arguments with the security guards.
Ensure that the housemaids and car washing guys are identified
Security guards will operate the street lights, staircase lights, etc
Security guards will operate the fire fighting system.
Security guards will ensure that small children do not go out of the society premises unattended.
Security guards will help the school buses to safely board or deboard the children.
Security guards will ensure regular rounds inside the society premises both at day and night times.
Security guards will engage any suspicious person inside the society premises with courteous manner for proper identification
Security guards will not sleep during duty hours. Else penalty will be applied.
Security guards will raise alarm during any unwanted situation
Security guards will coordinate with the police patrol team and follow instructions of the Government.
The CCTV system is open for access to any member. Take help of the society manager. Use the self-help document for operations. Anybody can view the CCTV recording footage within two weeks of any incident. After two weeks, footage is not available.
