Housekeeping:
The appointed Housekeeping Agency will pick the waste, clean the premises, mop the staircases (no washing), dispose to PCMC truck.
Every member will follow PCMC guidelines regarding the waste material and disposal.
Always give the waste segregated as organic and inorganic.
Organic means biodegradable waste.
Do not put plastic bags in organic waste.
Some items like -- big boxes, thermocol, wood, stone/tiles, debris, etc -- are not accepted by PCMC for disposal in their truck. So you will have to arrange special vehicles to dispose off these items at your cost.
There are a few special bins kept in the society premises which you can use for disposal of metal, plastic, glass, etc.
Do not keep dustbins and other waste overnight outside your door. Cats will spill the contents.
Organic Waste Composter (OWC) machine is installed for converting organic waste to compost.
Do not put clothes, napkins, etc in the toilet or bathroom dains which can cause clogging. It results in mess, smell and expenditure to clear the same.
