In Analogy with Ranks of Jedi in the Multi-Episode Movie Series of “Star Wars” (星球大战)

[1] Jedi Youngling/Initiate (in analogy with bachelor degree): A child learner to begin the Jedi journey.

[2] Padawan (in analogy with master’s degree): After finishing the Jedi level at Jedi Youngling, an apprentice, (to learn the common knowledge, technical skills, and linking art of human resources,) for final test before the trials towards the knighthood.

[3] Jedi Knight (in analogy with Ph.D. degree): After finishing the Jedi level at Padawan, to have passed the Trial of Knowledge, Trial of Skill, and Trial of Spirit, one will become a disciplined and experienced Jedi.

[4] Jedi Master (in analogy with Habilitation degree): After successfully training at least a Padawan learner to Jedi Knight status, an experienced Jedi Knight may become a Jedi Master, depending on the quality of the newly produced Jedi Knight.

[5] Jedi Council Member (in analogy with management chairs of academy): 12 Jedi members consisting of the most powerful and wise members of the order; mostly Jedi Master; serving term may be permanent or occasional for a limited time period.

[6] Jedi General (in analogy with challenger towards the genuine or fake degree holders, and vice versa): Jedi with excellent skills in martial strategy.
