[8] From a university lecturer to a full professor to survive over the company-type license units, one has to own sufficiently rich MONEY-type copyrighted article(s), like journals, conference proceedings, etc., for cross licensing with the other owners of the taught subject syllabus, whenever the solution models of the copyrighted subject are not yet in public domain in a particular geo-political region.
[9] Once a university lecturer has rich money-type copyrighted article(s) to do CROSS LICENSING with the OTHER RESEARCHER(S), one may consider to increase the BTL/CTL per subject per semester to more than two (2) students or undergraduates, such like for a C++ Language subject in a semester to have increased the BTL/CTL to four (4) units.

[1] (04Jul2013). Since year 1776 till at least today, every year on this day July the 4th is the Independence Day of United States of America (USA/US).
[2] This day is chosen because day June the 30th is the last day for a commercial entity, either business or company, to report one’s commercial income(s) before any offence penalty will be imposed on the guilty person.
[3] YES! It is IMPOSITION on a punishment escaper due to the appearance of someone’s similar face or name.
[4] XKW Lee’s provided keywords here are: forex (foreign exchange), monetary unit, money, states/provinces, partnership, cash, separation, integration.
[5] State of cash-money balance is achieved whenever the total cash incomes received, can be fully settled by a money-type solution model, i.e. SMU unit(s), in equivalent cash value, lottery hit rate, or jackpot chances.
[6] Whenever SMU money value is more than the cash income value (money > cash), then the employer-employee relationship may and will be reversed.

At the bachelor degree level, do you feel confusing about so many flowering subjects about/over 40 in the major/minor/normal fields of knowledge?
Then, to save my time and effort to repeatedly explain the more-or-less alike the same story, please follow a few sentences at about 10 to 20, or about 300 words, as follows here.
From the major/ minor/ normal fields one has studied at bachelor degree level, then during one’s working time for full-time or part-time career, please try to pick up a few learnt subjects from the schools, and to-be-learnt subjects from the bookshops and libraries, into a set of knowledge subject, so as to form a working system based on one’s interests, abilities, and available resources.
There is an Internet idiom saying that: “To live one year in the Internet silicon world is equivalent with seven years living in the physical carbon world.”
At master’s degree by coursework level, we learn to handle and manage a working system. For example, the MBA (Master in Business Administration) degree let one to learn how to manage a human group systemically. Thus, getting firstly a full-time and/or part-time job, or project title and direction, so as to collect or earn working experience, will enable one to know what knowledge subjects that one is in need for actually to form a set of knowledge subjects towards a working system. In short, get a bachelor degree, and then work first to know what working system one will plan to form. Around the core, one needs supports.
The names of the major/ minor/ normal fields are the road signs for one planning to form a working system for oneself.
At master’s degree by research level or even higher at Ph.D. or normal doctorate level, one shall know that it is very risky to invest the golden times of two to seven years per research project, when one is young and energetic to climb the corporate ladder in one’s working career. Let me telling you a truth here. To do research is to compete globally on Earth planet for the time mainly. The time here always means the fastest time of completion. Then, other competing arenas are usable/useful information, experimental equipment set, experts’ guidance, etc.
(19Oct2012). Nevertheless, do be reminded that in western university degree system, the highest degree award is higher doctorate degree, aka Habilitation degree. In art stream, it is called Doctor of Letters; whereas in science stream, it is called Doctor of Science (Sc.D.). According to the statistics in USA and Europe, a talented person, who does research continuously, obtains this honor at the age of 50 years old in average. HIGHER DOCTORATE degree is very close to a scholar’s summit in the scholastic domain, whose seat is called FELLOW in well-known and widely recognized SCHOLASTIC ACADEMY, especially national and international types. Here, an established scholastic academy, full with talented persons, can enable the establishment of a school, college, varsity, or even university. To qualify for a higher doctorate degree, one has to do and to succeed in “field (land) formation”. For example, the subject on “gravity forces” is a knowledge field, formed by (Sir) Isaac Newton from United Kingdom (UK) circa year 1700 AD.

Major / Minor / Normal Field

K.W. Lee’s offered subject groups for teaching as a major field is Computer, and as a minor field is Telecommunication.
A full professor is responsible for a major field of subject group; whereas an associate professor is responsible for a minor field of subject group.
K.W. Lee’s academic job title at MMU is a LECTURER, so he is only needed to be responsible for one to two subjects, or an undergraduate student’s tuition fee per year.
