Track Condition 2019

The first 250 metres cross a relatively flat area subject to seasonal wetness and is overgrown. It includes several cutting grass bushes growing beside the track and these will continue to widen and impede walker access.

Once on the ridge the pad is more obvious with three distinct types of condition.

1. Sections of mostly low bush and the pad is easy to follow (bearing in mind the track class).

2. Parts with vegetation (knee to waits height) growing in to track but it is nevertheless obvious where to walk.

3. Short sections of taller overgrowing vegetation that make it harder, though not difficult to follow. Some of these have been broken (mid 2019) to assist passage.
