Below the Main Fire Trail north of Old Farm Road

Several areas have been worked on in the Old Farm area. The latest which is the only one shown here had work done in 2017.
It is on the boundary with cascade land and within a power easement. COH suggested the site to FOWP.

Status June 2021
Over 8 sessions a considerable volume of Erica and Gorse has been cleared and all the old growth has been cleared with primary weeding.
Since then 1 follow up day has been spent there.
The site now has some new small plants that have grown from seeds and a few seedlings of Erica and Gorse.
On the flatter land, partly within the park but mostly outside the thick Erica has been sprayed by TasNetworks and looks to have been a good job done, but some follow up appears to be needed.
Unfortunately foxglove has been discovered on this latter area.

At the bottom on slope in an area not previously reached, but now cleared.
Near the middle with small plants growing in previously cleared land. Many cut stumps nearby. This has now been cleared and patches of very small plants sprayed.
