East Ridgeway

There is a large patch of tall Erica (Spanish Heath) in the bush in an area designated as East Ridgeway. As a declared weed coming up in a large tract of otherwise clean bushland, this is high priority. It’s a pleasant 20 minute walk from the Taswater gates at the Ridgeway reservoir. There are mature white peppermints and flowering shrubs, as well as lovely views of the mountain and the upper reservoir. (description from Bec Johnson Hobart Bushcare)
