The youngest child of Agnes Symington and James Darton.
She died single on 13 October 1909 and was buried in the Boroondara Cemetery with her uncle James Symington on 15th October. [1]

DEATH
DARTON. On the 13th October, at “Sanquhar,” Lisson-grove, Hawthorn, Constance Mary, youngest daughter of late J. H. Darton.

We are sorry to record the death, which occurred on the 13th inst., at “Sanquhar," Lisson-grove, Hawthorn, of Miss Constance Mary Darton, youngest daughter of the late Mr J. H. Darton, and sister of Mr R. C. Darton, Postmaster at Heathcote. Miss Darton had been ailing for some time. Mr Darton received a message on Wednesday last week to the effect that his sister was not expected to live, and he left as soon as arrangements could be made for him to do so, which was on the following day. Mr R. S. Thomas, acted in Mr Darton’s place during his few day’s absence. Much sympathy was felt for Mr Darton on the sad news becoming known.
