Building on the innovative "Into the Media Woods" project in Brisbane's Botanical Garden, a subsequent case study was developed using Rhino Grasshopper to explore the possibilities of parametric design in media architecture. This study focused on creating customisable designs that adapt to various urban park environments while maintaining the core principles of the original project: enhancing ecological relationships, minimising light pollution, and providing interactive experiences. The case study utilised Grasshopper's algorithmic modelling capabilities to create complex and adaptable media tree structures. These structures could be tailored to different flora, lighting conditions, and visitor interactions, further bridging the gap between urban spaces, nature, and technology. This advancement in parametric design showcases the flexibility and potential of "Into the Media Woods" and sets a precedent for future developments in interactive and eco-conscious urban architecture.
