Here are some things to know so that you can properly use the different tools from WakfuCalc:
🔓 The only cells that you can edit are dotted with blue lines, like on the picture below. Every other cell is not editable, so that the formulas that make the spreadsheet work are protected.
📝 To change the value of a cell, double click on the cell and input the desired value.
⚠️ Please note that some cells only allow some data types (for instance, integers, positive or negative, included in some intervals, or specific values).
📋 Some cells (the ones that allow you to choose a lvl 186+ mob family or mob for instance) show you a drop-down list with allowed values (like on the picture below). Those cells are marked by a small arrow on the right of the cell when you click on them. Click on the arrow to show the list of allowed values, then pick the value of your choice.
🚫 If you input an invalid data type, the calc will display an error message (like on the picture below) and will both ask you to modify your input and inform you about the expected values that you should input.
⚠️ If you are using Dark Theme / Dark Reader browser add-ons, please note that these add-ons may adversely affect proper display of the calc (missing colors, lone borders). It is recommended to disable these add-ons while on the calc, and then to refresh the page for an optimal user experience.
❌ To remove a value from a cell, double click on the cell, delete its value, then click on any other cell.
🛑 Important: do not press Enter after you deleted the content of a cell, because if this cell features a drop-down list, pressing Enter will re-populate the cell with the first value from the drop-down list.
⏺️ If you need to input a decimal value, use a dot ( . ), not a comma.
➕ You can do math operations directly inside the cells. For instance, if you want to add up all your secondary masteries which would be of 1587, 862 and 2450, instead of taking the windows calculator to get the result, you can directly type "=1587+862+2450" into the cell, and Excel will do the sum for you.
📄 Most of the calc tools come with explanations, which are hidden by default. To display them, click on the cell dotted with blue lines next to "Explanations", then write "Yes".
💡 Some cells may display a small tooltip / contextual help when you click on them.
📱 It is not possible to use WakfuCalc on phone with Firefox mobile (but Firefox PC works)
🔄 Sometimes, some pictures from the calc get stuck and are incorrectly displayed at other positions, notably when you switch to another calc tab. It is a bug from Excel on browser. You need to refresh the page to fix it, but be warned that it will reset the data that you input.
⛔ Sometimes, if you input data too quickly in the cells, Excel might display an error message, or ask you to refresh the page. If it happens, try to add a small pause after you input data and before the next input.
I advise against downloading, then uploading the calc to Google Sheets, as many formulas and formatting will no longer work. Excel < > GSheets compatibility is not perfect. Preferably upload to Onedrive, that way the calc will open with Excel Online and will work as intended.

😢 There is no way to properly align pictures on Excel so if you have symmetry OCD, sorry
🔀 The position of the pictures changes upon uploading the spreadsheet to Excel web, and how the calc is displayed may change depending on your browser too
↔️ The calc exists in both French and English, and to keep maintenance simple, the 2 versions are synced. So the cells need to have the dimensions to accomodate the texts from both languages (hence the big empty spaces in the EN version)
