A new program, Kwik-X, works with your HF digital mode software to allow you to easily transfer small binary files and other types of data reliably over audio links, without requiring any special hardware. Its most important distinction from Flarq is that it is "connectionless".
Exchange binary data in almost any environment
Efficiently broadcast data to any number of recipients simultaneously, with each of them able to verify correct reception.
Portable (no installation needed) - a single 400kB executable is all you need.
Multi-platform - works on any version of MS Windows >=95, as well as any platforms that support Wine, such as Linux and Mac OS X.
Open Source - tweak it if you like
Works with most digital modes - Required characters: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, +, /, =, (, )
Base64 decoder implementation ignores characters not listed above, making it immune to breakage from reformatting like line breaks, etc.
Compresses data to maximize transmission speed (If data is already compressed as much as possible, it will not make another compression pass.)
Displays encoded size so you can calculate how long it will take to transfer over you chosen mode
Automatically transfers encoded data to/from OS Clipboard for easy operation with nearly any digital communication software
