Digital Mode information

During Sunday night's round table discussion on experience w/ digital modes, I promised to post links to information. Nobody else has contributed any yet, but if they do, I'll add them to this post. Here's some to get you started:

Digital Modes - Sights and Sounds: http://www.w1hkj.com/FldigiHelp-3.12/Modes/index.htm

This site is a handy reference to help you learn to identify different modes. It also has a comparison of efficiency, etc. of various modes.

FLDigi (the software that I use most) is a free download from this same site, as are several other programs used for transferring files, etc.

Hamscope is another great all-purpose app for working digital modes, but is only available for MS Windows.

Wikipedia provides useful information on several of the modes, and, of course, Google is your friend!
