April 2015 ERC Simplex Exercise

Post date: Apr 07, 2015 3:0:51 AM

This Saturday (Apr 11), we will be hosting a series of simplex nets in the morning, in conjunction with an exercise that the

LDS Portland Region ERC group is holding.

The goals of the exercise are to get people operating, work emergency power sources (you're strongly encouraged to go off-grid for this one), to practice very basic information handling, and to test propagation between different locations on the various bands.

All radio amateurs are are invited to check in with us at these times & places:

    • 12:00-12:15 / 445.975 MHz FM - ERC regional 70cm net
