How does the integration of concealing a bookmark with a bookend help with clutter on a bookshelf with the benefit of keeping track of reading progress?
I will be creating a combination of a bookend and bookmark that allows users to both manage books while keeping track of where they are, all in one place. Creating a detachable bookmark that connects to the bookend, using magnets that snap into place. Allowing for ease of placement and ease of managing where the bookmark is. My project aims to declutter bookshelves and desk spaces, allowing users to return the current book they're reading into place without losing place of where they're reading and minimizing the loss of the bookmark itself. Also allowing for a cleaner bookshelf.
