Karl Knutson was born in Provo, Utah, USA on November 17th, 1999, and grew up in a devout Mormon family.
Luca Rossi was born on March 16th, 2000, in Seattle, WA, USA. Her parents moved the family to Provo, UT, when she was eight years old, seeking a more conservative lifestyle than what they perceived to be an increasingly liberal environment in Seattle.
Despite the initial culture shock and adjustment, Luca embraced her new community and quickly became involved in various art projects and activities.
As a child, she showed a remarkable talent for painting and drawing, and her parents encouraged her to explore her passion. Luca attended several local schools and art programs, honing her skills and developing her unique style. Her dedication and hard work paid off when she received a scholarship to attend the prestigious Provo Art Institute, where she met and fell in love with Karl Knutson, forming a creative and romantic partnership that would last a lifetime.
Despite her pale complexion, she radiated a subtle rosy blush as if her blood shone through her skin. Standing at 160 centimeters, her husband towered over her, but she never appeared intimidated, always maintaining a tall and confident posture. She possessed deep blue eyes and a slender, narrow button nose on an oval face with delicate cheekbones. Although often overlooked due to her well-developed bust, she had notably graceful and attractive shoulders which she usually showcased with strapless dresses.
With their parents' authorization, Karl and Luca got married when she turned 17. They defied the odds and weathered many challenges, including the social and cultural norms that often frowned upon teenage marriages. However, their love and commitment managed to overcome it all, and as of 2354, the Knutson-Rossi family continues to be an integral part of the Immortal community, using their extended lifetimes for the betterment of humanity and the arts.
With the help of the Mormon Church, as part of the church's plan to uplift their community from the bleak existence during the First Great Collapse, Luca Rossi founded the Provo Art Institute at the age of 30. Her vision was simple yet powerful: to provide aspiring artists with a space to learn, experiment, and grow and to nurture their passion and talent. Under her guidance and mentorship, many students found their voices and developed their artistic skills, producing a range of compelling and thought-provoking pieces.
Throughout the years, the Provo Art Institute flourished and expanded, welcoming diverse perspectives and artistic expressions from many parts of the world. Even after Luca left for the colonies with her husband Karl, she left the institute in good conservatorship, and it has continued to thrive. The Knutson-Rossi family's impact on the art world and Immortal community is still felt and celebrated to this day.
Together, they have a daughter named Sofia Knutson-Rossi, who is also an Immortal.
