Karl Knutson was born in Provo, Utah, USA on November 17th, 1999, and grew up in a devout Mormon family.
Karl Knutson was a tall and lanky man, standing at 6'1" with a lean, muscular build. He had a sharp jawline, neatly trimmed brown hair, and piercing caramel-colored eyes that tended to flicker between shades of amber and light brown, depending on the light. He had a distinct presence about him, exuding confidence and intelligence in equal measure.
He was a devoted member of the Mormon Church for many years. However, when the leaders of the church declared that the use of BioNano technology was heretical, he began to question his faith and convictions. Eventually, in 2078, he decided to break his ties with the church and embrace the path of Immortality. With his wife, Luca Rossi, an artist, and their daughter, Sofia Knutson-Rossi, he underwent the process of immortalization, joining the ranks of those seeking to use their extended lifetimes in the service of progress, scientific advancement, and social justice.
As an archaeologist, Knutson brought a unique perspective to his work, combining his expertise in meteorites with his deep understanding of human history and culture. He was renowned for his skill in identifying the composition of meteorites and using this information to shed new light on the formation and evolution of the solar system.
Karl Knutson's exceptional intellect, tireless drive, and numerous contributions to the Information Protection Foundation (IPF) caught the attention of Magnus St. Sere, who recognized his talents and offered him a place in Project Nest Egg.
Through his work on the project, Knutson proved himself to be an invaluable asset, using his skills in archaeology and meteorite composition to help identify the optimal location for the colonies to be established in the asteroid belt.
As a result of his contributions and skills, Knutson was granted a spot on the Ceres.
Karl Knutson married his childhood sweetheart, Luca Rossi, an artist whose work is well known in public spaces on Earth and across various colonies. Together, they have a daughter named Sofia Knutson-Rossi, who is also an Immortal.
As a family, the Knutson-Rossis were dedicated to promoting the value of creativity, innovation, and progress in the new world they helped to shape. Through their work and approach towards life, they inspired countless others to explore new frontiers and push the boundaries of what was possible, consistently aiming to push humanity towards a brighter future.
