Pre-departure Checklist:
Download your acceptance letter (NOA) and DS-2019 from the documents section of your My Study Abroad application.
Make your visa appointment (contact the local US consulate- you will need your SEVIS number)
Claim your NetID (will need your UIN from your NOA)
Set up your Illinois email account (will need your NetID)
Arrange housing (must have claimed your NetID to secure university housing)
Book flights (reminder-consider the date and time of the mandatory orientation-you may need to arrive a day early)
Choose courses (see your college specific page for details)
Send in your immunization forms to McKinley
Check with housing about early move-in or find a hotel room for orientation
