The University will bill your student account for things such as housing, health insurance, McKinley fees, copies, and over-due books. You will see the mandatory fees such as the transportation fee show up on your account in the beginning of your semester abroad. Make sure to check your account regularly. Failure to pay your student account before leaving campus could result in a hold on your account, which will delay the receipt of your transcripts. For more information, follow this link: https://paymybill.uillinois.edu/payments/MakingPayments
Your housing and other mandatory fees will be billed to your student account at the beginning of the semester (not before). We will discuss billing in more detail at the orientation. Fees are not assessed until August, so they are subject to change.
