This Apple tree is not in the walled garden, but in the entrance courtyard. On your right as you enter. Reported as not producing many apples.

From the Pruning Course Nov. 2023 run by Katie of Heathfield Orchards. Probibly one of the trunks is from the root stock (Crab Apple) and the other is the grafted variety. We will have to look at the fruit produced in 2024 to see which trunk to remove or we may leave both for wildlife
