Plum Tree but says 'Damson'

Although the picture on the label looks like a plum, the fruit on the tree looks like a damson.

so this will be a case of tasting.

Plums are for eating and round, Damsons are longer in shape than plums. They generally have deep blue skins and they are spicier and more tart, making them better for jam & cooking.
