Having Trouble with Google Meet?

Are you on a phone

Yes, you can use an iPhone or Android phone to attend the meeting. Go to the Apple App store or Google Play Store to install the Google Meet app on your device.

Login to the app with a Gmail account - you're good to go!

Oppss!

If you see a message like this one, you're using a browser that is incompatible with Google Meet. 

Please use a current version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.

Google Meet

If you've never been to meet.google.com and used Google Meet before, your screen will look similar to this. 

Simply allow your camera and microphone to be accessed.

Mute Microphone

The two red buttons on this image are the mute control for the microphone and camera. 

If yours are not red, they are turned on and ready to go. If you click them once, they'll turn red (and turn off).

No Gmail Account 

If you are NOT using a Gmail account, you'll be prompted to enter your name before clicking the blue Ask to Join button.

You'll be let into the meeting momentarily.

You Have a Gmail account

If you HAVE a Gmail account, click the blue Ask to Join button.


You'll be let into the meeting momentarily.

Having Trouble Logging In?

Click on the upper circle with your picture in it, or it might be your initial, or it might just be a profile like shown on the left...

Click on guest and then go back to our website and join the meeting.


Job Corps Employees:

NOTE: You cannot use a tonguepoinths.org account to access the Meet - you must use the Guest option. You will need to log in to our firewall using your Citrix ID when using this option.

Another option

Your only option might be to Sign out of all accounts. 

Now go back to our website and join the meeting.
