Bobcats are a big cat native to all of north America. These cats are one of the closest related animals to the mountain loin. They are carnivores that eat animals like rabbits, fawns (baby deer), and squirrels. Adults weight about 12-35 pounds, where as kittens weigh about 12 ounces. Kittens are born in June in litters of about 3 kittens. They will stay with there mother for a little less than a year to and entire year. Only mothers take care of young. Bobcats are not particularly dangerous to humans, but if you go to close to them or their young they may attack.
