Think globally, act locally

The contest for the logo of our project is on the way. The students from all partnering schools were very creative and these are their suggestions. The voting is being held via Google forms and it will last for a week. Let the most liked one win!

On the first day of November, 2022, Elementary School Barilović started a two-year Erasmus project (Small Partnerships) called "Think globally, act locally" worth 60,000 euros. The project is intended for students aged thirteen to sixteen from our school and partner schools from Germany (Städt. Gesamtschule Iserlohn, Iserlohn) and Poland (Akademicki Zespół Placówek Oświatowych Lubawa, Lubawa).

With this project, we want to raise awareness of the seriousness of climate change, which we ourselves witness every day, and use practical examples to encourage students, teachers, and residents of the local community to take active action to make the world a healthier and more beautiful place to live.

The project coordinator is the English teacher, Petra Poljak.
