Families are making the decision to bring their elders home. There are many reasons for families to make this choice.
We brought Mom home at the end of October, 2021. Mom turned 91 on November 1 in her new home, at home, with me. She had been living in a mental health group home since 1982. She said to me, "We waited a long time for this day to come."
